About the pictures

All pictures on this site (martentacoma.nl) and oud.martenjn.nl are, unless stated otherwise made by Marten Tacoma.

Usage of the pictures

  1. For every use of the pictures prior written permission of the photographer is required
  2. Attribution of the photographer is always required (preferably directly at the picture)
  3. If the photo is edited (including, but not exclusively include: cropping, text over the photo, rotate) before publishing written approval from the photographer is required
  4. For usage a fee is is applicable according to the rates which the photographer applies at that moment
  5. If no prior permission is given, the rates are increased by 200%
  6. If the image is edited without approval of the photographer, the rates are increased by 100%
  7. If the name of the photographer is not clearly stated the rates are increased by 100%
  8. For non-profit organisations usage is free in most cases when the requirements of section 1 to 3 and section 10 of these conditions are met. Whether usage is free is judged by the photographer.
  9. Private use on blogs and other personal sites is free when the requirements of section 1 to 3 of these conditions are met.
  10. Of each print in which one or more photos made by the photographer are used the photographer receives a copy free of charge

Please contact me for permission trough the contactform. Please state which pictures you want to use, preferably with a link to the picture. Please also state where you need the pictures for.

Above conditions also aply to pictures i posted on picasa & flickr.
